Folsom’s Brian Martell saddles up as Folsom Pro Rodeo Grand Marshal – Folsom Times

With the Folsom Pro Rodeo rolling into town next week, a new Grand Marshal of the event will take on the role of the face of the Folsom Pro Rodeo that is already nearly sold out for July 3, 4 and 5. Martell joins a long list of recent Rodeo Grand Marshals to take on the role, following some of the most recent Grand Marshals such as Kris Keables, Rich Reynolds, Marshal Crossan, Karen West, Adam Frick and more.

Martell’s honor was previously announced by the Folsom Chamber of Commerce during the Community Awards at the Harris Center for the Arts. It was there that Martell received his official Folsom Pro Rodeo Belt Buckle, rodeo shirt and the title of 2024 Rodeo Grand Marshal. Now, just days later, Martell will join thousands at the Dan Russell arena for Folsom’s largest annual spectator event in its 63 year.

Over the years, Martell has actively served not only the chamber but also the community. Among his roles, Martell has served as a planning commissioner for the City of Folsom, he has served as the chairman of the board of directors for the Folsom Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he remains a member of the Rotary Club of Folsom and has not only been an avid Rodeo fan for more than 20 years, but has also been a volunteer and sponsor for almost as long, according to the Folsom Chamber of Commerce.

Your passion, generosity and infectious spirit embody the true essence of the Folsom Pro Rodeo, and we are honored to have you represent us as our Grand Marshal. Here’s to another unforgettable rodeo season, full of excitement, camaraderie and the undeniable excitement of the arena.”

The Folsom Pro Rodeo takes place on July 3 and continues through July 4 of this year, followed by the first-ever Sacramento Sheriff’s Rodeo on July 5. Tickets are selling quickly for this year’s event, with a week to go until the event, July 3 and 5 are officially sold out, according to the Folsom Chamber of Commerce.
