Bronny James to Australia? Former NBA GM Describes Agent Threat to Help LeBron’s Son Join Lakers

Bronny James is about to make the jump from college basketball to the professional game. Could that jump take him all the way to the land below?

That’s the question on the lips of many NBA fans after former Warriors general manager and current ESPN analyst Bob Myers hinted that James could head to Australia’s NBL if he isn’t selected by a certain non-member named franchise on the draft list.

Myers revealed that James’ agent, Rich Paul, goes to great lengths to ensure his client lands with both feet on the ground at a specific location.

“Right now, Rich Paul is calling teams,” Myers said. “‘He tells them, ‘Don’t take him.’ He says, ‘Don’t take him. If you take him, he’ll go to Australia.’

“He has a plan and he has a place,” Myers added.

Myers’ report comes amid rumors that the Lakers are interested in acquiring James’ services with the No. 55 pick. It’s unclear whether Myers discussed Los Angeles or another party.
